The Farmington River has its magical moments. This is one. Lighting is cloudy with no obvious shadows and the air heavy with mist. But the wind is calm providing an excellent reflection. The 2 points of color provide wonderful accent and contrast in this otherwise subdued water scene. And, yes, the beaver does come to investigate any time I'm in his realm.

Photos in the Farmington River gallery come directly from his time kayaking on and around that river.
