Sunrise on Christmas Cove, Monhegan, ME. This is the southern tip of the island, scene of shipwrecks and crashing storm surf. This morning I'm ready with the camera and tripod on the rocks, waiting for the sun to be born and hoping for excitement - and hoping a rogue wave doesn't spoil it all.
