Product Details

Our luxuriously soft beach towels are made from brushed microfiber with a 100% cotton back for extra absorption.   The top of the towel has the image printed on it, and the back is white cotton.   Our beach towels are available in two different sizes: beach towel (32" x 64") and beach sheet (37" x 74").

Don't let the fancy name confuse you... a beach sheet is just a large beach towel.

Artist's Description

Ten miles from Pemaquid Maine, the cliffs of Monhegan rise above the waves of the Atlantic.
The name likely derives from Monchiggon - Algonquian for "out-to-sea island." It was here at the island trading post where traders taught English to Samoset, the sagamore who in 1621 startled the Pilgrims by boldly walking into their new village at Plymouth and saying: "Welcome, Englishmen." More recently, the likes of Henri, Kent, Hopper and Wyeth have come here for inspiration. The image is rendered in what is best described as modern pictorialism.

About Tom Cameron

Tom Cameron

Tom Camerons photography is a wonderful adventure that opens up the wild and secret places in our midst. Photos in the Farmington River gallery come directly from his time kayaking on and around that river. Breathtaking images appear on the river for a short while at the beginning of the day, and many are unique to the sunrise event. The variety that light generates on and in the water is endless. Reflection symmetries, unique misty lighting and captured water motion dominate the collection. From the smallest dew-drenched webs, to the reeds in the sunrise, spirit-driven fog and mist, trees, birds and even the occasional fisherman; they all reinforce the wild and scenic personality of the Farmington. Tom Cameron has become an...
